ChALC runs a comprehensive programme of training aimed at supporting the core work of Clerks, Councillors and Chairmen.
Prior to the Coronavirus outbreak in 2020 we were able to advertise and deliver an annual programme of face-to-face training events. Our policy is to make training as accessible as possible and to that end we delivered training in a number of venues across Cheshire. Regular training sessions were priced as follows: -Cost 1/2 day session: Members £35.00 non-Members £60.00. Full Day session: Members £75.00 non-Members £125.00. Bespoke sessions: POA
Since the outbreak of the pandemic we have developed and have also arranged a suite of virtual training sessions. For the current offers in 2021 & early 2022 please click on and download the latest schedule here . Costs are from £25 – Members and £40 – non-Members. The schedule shows the range of courses that are currently available for the next 6 months. These can be popular and may be quickly booked up, but new courses and sessions are regularly added – so please watch this space! Please note that all training sessions will be delivered virtually, whilst we are considering a return to some face to face training no decisions have been taken as yet.

Prior to the session you will receive confirmation of your successful booking and joining instructions for the Zoom session.
Cancellations- We understand that life sometimes catches us out and if you need to cancel your place we will always try to be sympathetic in our approach. However, generally we will still charge your council for your place if you do not notify us within 2 working days prior to the event.
