ALDERLEY EDGE PARISH COUNCIL, Cheshire East

Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer)

25 hours per week (including evening meetings)

Salary Range: SCP 28 – 31 (£31,952 – £41,771- pro rata for part time)

Alderley Edge Parish Council is seeking to appoint a proactive and experienced Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer (RFO) to lead the administration, governance, operational delivery and financial management of the Council.  Alderley Edge is a high-profile and well-regarded village with an active community, a busy events calendar and a strong focus on maintaining and improving local services and facilities. BRADWALL PARISH COUNCIL, Cheshire East

Part-time Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer
Starting salary of £1560 per annum to cover 104 hours per year, spread out flexibly throughout the year as demand requires (£15.00/hr)
The successful candidate will work from home and attend evening meetings every two months. The role is responsible for ensuring the correct running of the council and its financial affairs. A basic understanding of accountancy is required, keeping a balance sheet, reclaiming VAT, etc. Full training regarding the roles and responsibilities of the Clerk/RFO can be given.
