Part-time Facilities Manager
28 Hours per week

Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer (RFO)
10 -14 hours per week including some evening meetings
Salary Scale: £15.84 to £17.29 per hour, (SCP 18-23) depending on experience
The successful candidate will be the public's primary point of contact with the Council, carry out tasks as allocated by the Council, maintain the Council's accounts (having a current budgeted expenditure of £60K per year) and ensure that the Council's statutory obligations are met.Preferably, they will have previous experience in a local government or a similar role and have completed or be working towards completion of the CiLCA qualification for Local Council Clerks. The full council meets on the last Tuesday of the month, although this could be changed to suit the right candidate. There is also on average one committee meeting each month. This is primarily a remote home working position, although some duties will take place within the parish.

Town Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer
37 hours per week
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
The Council is looking for a suitably experienced and knowledgeable person, to be appointed to the role of Clerk to the Town Council. The successful candidate will have proven experience in the role of Town or Parish Clerk and hold the CiLCA qualification. Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they have relevant experience with a track record of service achievement and innovation, commitment to public service, be community focused, and have sound managerial, communication and organisational skills. Part-time Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer
Starting salary of £1560 per annum - to cover 104 hours per year, spread out flexibly throughout the year as demand requires (£15.00/hr)
The successful candidate will work from home and attend evening meetings every two months. The role is responsible for ensuring the correct running of the council and its financial affairs. A basic understanding of accountancy is required, keeping a balance sheet, reclaiming VAT, etc. Full training regarding the roles and responsibilities of the Clerk/RFO can be given.
