Established in 1947, the National Association of Local Councils is the only national body representing the interests of 10,000 local councils and 80,000 councillors.
NALC works in partnership with county associations (such as ChALC) to support, promote and improve local councils.
It has its own website which also has a members login to access and download a range of documents and publications. ChALC members are eligible to register and set up an individual login.
A number of publications have been produced by NALC and many of them are openly available. Check out this link for details.
Set out below are some other NALC items that may be of interest and are only available for ChALC members to download.
